An unlimited number of custom indices can be created from the bonds delivered through Custom Index Manager™. Users can tailor an intermediate index to fit specific maturity or duration objectives and constraints; or build any bond-constituent benchmark that reflects your market strategy. Custom indices can be back-tested to correllate returns and discover relative value relationships. Custom indices can also be blended to create other indices such 50/50 short/long; 10% of 10 maturies to reflect a laddered strategy; or a mix of sectors to show how a targeted allocation would have performed. Once you have created a custom or blended index, it can be used for any of the above analyses. |
